  1. If you know someone you will find a job... that's the American way, even if you a bum, and don't know anything, they will pay you more since you are a relative or a friend of the big F owner....

  4. @Migslayer101 It's so difficult to find a job today, especially for a teenager, such as myself. I was recently laid off from my original job, which was my first job, by the way. Now, I am in the process of searching for another job. Basically, I am in the same situation as you are in. Before I was hired by my first manager, it took me nearly one year to find a job. I had no experience, however, I was willing to earn experience. It's really unfair.

  9. Great advice, rather simplistic though. These are very obvious things that most people would not overlook. I would like to see you talk about how to tailer your resume to a certain position, or how to avoid being overlooked in the flood of resumes flying in as soon as the company posts a job.

  10. I will hire 100 commissioned sales people.
I think I have the perfect business or job for you. Sell gold. Gold is currently selling for more than $1600 per ounce. We sell 1 gram of gold for $52. That means the average person can now use gold as a hedge without too much cash. The cost to get involved is $0.00. Be sure to put my username, "greenshield" at the top of your online application. 12. The internet is great, you can email anyone, trouble is everyone else can too. That cuts your chances of interviews down substantially. Especially if the employer can't meet you in person and make a judgment as to weather you are a good fit. The internet has ruined everything to do with job hunting with these businesses online tests you have to take, including mandatory race information, which is illegal, not to mention who knows who you are really sending it to or if it even gets to them.

We couldn't agree more! Use your network instead of sending out a resume. Most resumes' get lost in an inbox somewhere...Good luck and check out SideSkills if you want to find work!

  15. Something new I've discovered which really impresses employers is to have your own website. I'm not talking about a Facebook page, that's not going to impress anyone, I mean a real dotcom website. I got mine made for free at ultimateyournamedotcom - I've already had a few job offers since my site went live, I'm just trying to decide if I should go with one of them or wait to see if better offers come in soon.

  16. While I don't think the advice given really speaks to the title of the video, the advice is good from a technical standpoint. I really liked the presenter's style. Very good speaker and a nice, unassuming attitude. She doesn't come across as a know-it -all as people sometimes do when dispensing this kind of advice. It makes it much easier to watch. Very nice subtle accent, too, whatever it is. Looking forward to seeing her other videos.

  18. @324fender same.. Its like all that effort of phoning places, handing out CV'S, making numerous cv's, sending thousands and thousands of online cv's with little to NO replys you'd think your just sending out your cv to an invisible person i mean i send out pretty personal information in my cv..Telephone adress all these bastards have them yet they don't bother to reply I HATE THE WORLD too..there is very few oppertunitys..i just totally relate to everything you just said.
