I have further time and want to take on a second component time occupation- perhaps at a diverse rapidly food spot. Even so, how can I make positive the two jobs will not conflict. I am afraid if I adjust my availability hrs at Mcdonald's I will obtain even significantly less hours.

shorter answer is you cannot

you can minimalize conflict by decreasing the dedication of 1 or two of your commitments

i would recomend only having 1 task at most, but a task at your school would demonstrate usuful.

  1. If you are a minor there is a maximum number of hours you can work so you would have even more problems not to have a conflict. The best solution is to take a job that is on a different shift than the one you have, but that may not be possible in your situation.

  2. Trying to juggle two jobs is more of a headache than it is worth. No matter how hard you try a conflict is bound to happen or you will be working longer hours on school nights than you should. Perhaps instead of getting another job you can ask McDonald's to increase your hours. They may have a policy on how many hours you work during the week, but weekends should be available. Have a talk with your manager and tell them you need more hours. Have the number of hours you want to work in mind and negotiate to get the number of hours you want. Just be careful not to overload your self for a couple more bucks a week. School and good grades will pay off more in the long run so make sure you have plenty of time for homework and rest. I worked a lot of hours during college and it hurt my grades and I have regretted it ever since. Good luck The PracticaL Mentor.
