Classy, Bold Interesting Style, But Rubber Band is a Mixed Blessing,
The watch is large, a great color that looks great, and the face has a bold but very visually interesting style that I think looks better in person than pictured. The copper color trim is really great and unique compared to my other watches. The whole copper trim on the surface can be rotates and is marked with an arrow (starting point) in 10 minute increments on the 5s so that you can time something to the minute. The face on the inside of the trim is lined with tape-measure-like lines for minutes and 25 second marks for the 3 minutes between each 5. The hands are very easy to read against the dark copper-red backdrop along with the bold numbers. The hands are lined in copper too which is more elegant. The second hand (also copper) is also easy to read. Even the off-center adjustment knob is visually interesting. I really love this watch, if it weren't for a few complaints about the band.
The band is a mixed blessing. First of all, compared to rubber bands of off the shelf watches at discount stores, this band appears very superior. It is very thick and looks better than most rubber bands. Its color is quite good. At a quick glance, you probably wouldn't notice at first. But it still is visibly a rubber band that upon inspection makes it a more casual watch. I would want to wear this in a business casual environment or out on a weekend, and it would definitely be okay for that. But the rubber band is still noticeable and in an important meeting I might prefer to wear a watch with a nicer band. Second, it appear you might be able to scratch the band. It has more solid flat surface that would show more if scuffed or scratched. It seems easy enough to mark up the edge of the band, but seems to come right out by rubbing it with your finger. Third, it is thick, which is a pro and a con. But I definitely feel it when typing on my keyboard with the extra thickness that holds my wrist up. But honestly I have already gotten used to it while typing this. Fourth, and maybe most important, it really isn't as comfortable compared to a leather band that has a softer back. The thick band doesn't follow as closely around my wrist, fits a little more loosely, and actually feels bulky as a result.
It is very easy to set the time by the know. It arrives in a very nice yellow box, wrapped in a leather-like material, with stitching, and a wavy pattern molded on top, and felt lined. It makes a very nice presentation when opened for the first time, especially compared to plastic packaging of off the shelf watches.
One odd thing is that mine arrived with a lemon Pledge smell on the watch, tag, and inside the box. I can only guess that someone reconditioned mine by cleaning with lemon pledge. I have 3 other watches from Invicta, none of which had this. I suspect it will easily clean off.

Gorgeous!,
The watch is absolutely gorgeous and it's exactly as pictured. I especially love the rubberized band; it's a nice change from the basic metal & leather. I wasn't sure just how large the face dial was as my son prefers the large size that covers the entire wrist, which this does. Whether you're a fan of Invicta or not, you won't be disappointed!
