Question by tennis: How do you locate out in which a builder is planning on creating in the around foreseeable future?
We own a property in Norcross, GA. Correct across the road, John Willis, a builder is constructing 1 million dollar residences. Our residence is for sale as of this week for 264,900. How do we come across out if the builder is intrigued in tearing down the houses on our road like he did across the street? They would not tell us.

Find otu what he paid for the other homes, like yours. Get this details from manifeste information at the county court residence. Then place up a for sale signal in your property. Lets say they compensated 100K and you want 120K. When a person calls locate out who they are, and say you want one hundred fifty. Individuals who know it isnt worth it, will go away, the builder will say..mmmm properly and then they maintain negotiating. but practically nothing much better to find out who will offer you what by placing up a signal in your yard. Plus if the builder desires your home, he will know he ought to act fast.
What do you think? Reply beneath!

Its all public records info, the county courthouse will show who owns the property parcels and the city building department will have the permits applied for. Also it is not uncommon for a builder to submit a plat for approval that includes target properties so mitigation issues can be assessed. Upon plat completion an "as built" will be recorded. That will show the actual development and not include the target properties if they were not obtainable or suitable. The builder will have some scout agents buying up the blocks he wants to develope. Often a seller will refuse top sell to a builder but will sell to leave the area. Thats where scout agents or bird dogs come in. Once you sell it is theirs and you have no say in what they do. I explained that in your other question. I feel saddened by your fast sale as it has cost you a lot of easy equity you could have easily had in a few more months.
